You learn something new everyday right? Well at least that’s what they say huh. Well, I like to believe that to be true. I’ve been learning a lot lately in this new journey of mine. I’ve been acting continuously for a year but social media is a new animal that I’m trying to understand. This is serious stuff man.
How can I build an account? How can I get more followers? How can I stay interesting? How can I not be annoying? It’s a lot and honestly I don’t know the answer but I’m learning day by day. A friend of mine has said to take it a day at a time and stay consistent so that you can have TRUE followers and not thousands of people who could care less. I think I agree. I want to build actual relationships with my “followers”, by the way I can’t stand that term. I don’t want thousands of people who don’t care to know me to be watching my daily life. I’m hoping there are people who are interested in what I’m into and who care about what I’m doing. I’m not just an actress, I’m a mother, a daughter, a sister, a best friend and a wife. I don’t talk to much about the other because I don’t want my lines too blurred but it IS my daily life. Sometimes my day consists of nothing but my children, sometimes I go to lunch with my father. Sometimes I’m tired and just sit in front of the tv and go over lines. Either way I’m trying to figure this whole thing out. How do you make a presence on social media? Hopefully my Friday interview can help a little, I think I took some good stuff from it. Thanks guys :)
